Coldplay's "Shiver "rocks my socks not only because I am a huge fan of Coldplay and UK/cultural music, but because I so badly want a guy; let me rephrase that.. my guy to understand that when we argue, instead of letting his pride, ego, and his "boys" get in his ear, he should just be patient and understand that girls just have issues sometimes! We can catch random attitudes or get emotional out of no where! We may not be able to give them all the attention that they feel they need at the time, but that shouldn't change the dynamics of our relationship!! Just because we argue.. shouldn't mean that we can't/won't talk to each other for days at a time!

This song is about a guy who expresses his unrequited love for a girl that I guess hasn't been giving him the most attention or they've just gotten into a fight about something and he's more concerned about expressing his love for her than arguing and quarreling about it.

**I'm not sure if this is just an issue for African American females. I have never dated or ran across another African American male that will set his pride/ego aside for his Significant Others expense. And I'd hate to play the race card,but that's just what I've noticed personally. Anyone else agree or disagree?
